I stayed here for a night with my partner and we loved being just a few steps from St Peter and St Paul's Church, which made our morning stroll so special. The parks nearby were perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery.

Achieved a perfect family getaway with outstanding hospitality. The remarkable rainfall shower provided an excellent experience, fitting even my tall partner. Dinner was delightful, and breakfast in the lovely dining room featured homemade granola and exquisite poached eggs. breakfast service was a bit slow, and we left wishing for higher-quality bacon.

Consider asking for a room away from the bar for a quieter stay, as noise can be a factor.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Coach. The decor in my room felt charming and welcoming. The rainfall shower was a highlight, making my shower incredibly enjoyable. Breakfast was a standout too, with homemade granola and perfectly poached eggs. The food quality during dinner was impressive. The staff definitely made my stay more pleasant. they were friendly and accommodating. there was no door on the bathroom, which made privacy a little awkward. Plus, the mattress felt a bit tired, not the most comfortable for a good night’s sleep. the location is stunning, right in a pretty little village, but those little details could use some attention.

The en-suite double room featured modern design with an attractive open layout, offering a unique vibe. The central location put us just a short walk from charming local shops and eateries, which made exploring easy and enjoyable.
The lack of privacy in the en-suite was a bit off-putting, as it had clear glass doors that left little to the imagination when it came to bathroom breaks. The toilet window directly faced the road and village green, adding an unwelcome audience during less-than-ideal moments. For elderly guests, I noticed that a grab rail in the bath/shower could provide extra safety, but I appreciated that the new landlady is on it for future improvements.

Family with children will enjoy this place
We had dinner one night and the whole family was impressed with the quality, it was so good my kids couldn’t stop talking about that delicious dessert. The staff were friendly and the rainfall shower was incredible – even my towering partner didn’t have issues fitting in, it felt like a luxury experience.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still manageable for what we got.

The cozy blue room and charming location made it an unforgettable experience, despite the lack of a door on the bathroom.

The rainfall shower offers an incredible experience, providing a good rinse after a long day. The decor in the rooms pulls off a cozy, charming vibe that makes lounging comfortable and inviting.
Privacy is a concern. the bathroom lacks a door, relying on a curtain instead, which could be awkward for some. the proximity to the bar led to some noise, though it quieted down by 10:30 PM. Finally, the window facing the road may result in an undesirable audience during bathroom breaks, though plans are in place to improve this.
